America's Cup A-Z and Dear Future Me

We have been learning about the America's Cup Yacht Race.set goals for our future self.

Peter Burling was the youngest helmsman NZ has ever had. He set a goal when he was 11 to race in the America's Cup when he grew up. I am setting myself a goal for 'My Future Self'.  

NZ Birds

I am learning to identify some facts about New Zealand birds. 

We read a book about NZ birds and I thought the facts were interesting. I made a google slide to share my learning.

The Great Reading Adventure

We are learning to write a moment in time about our class assembly, 'The Great Reading Adventure'      

Today is the day it felt like I had butterflies but I felt Better when some of our class started  to say their parts. My tummy twisted and turned I felt  anxious then when I was sitting I felt like every thing was black. Our turn here I go "what is that rotten gump you is eating snoss cumbers"  I felt weird after I sat down and I felt embarrassed.

Tractor Trek

 Lots of tractors  came to school and and it  was .cool and it was fun like it and Hunter made loud tractor noises the wheel was big and I hopped in one ring and my favorite one was the red one and the end and that was the one I sat in the most I pretended at I was driving. I really appreciated it  and it was amazing! We had so much fun and lots of action. 

After that there was a lady called Cat and she got Tame, Millan and Charlie to talking about feelings.

Kawa of Care Challenge

 We are learning all about the 'Kawa of Care'
