Last week aw class went to Waitangi for Raranga Matihko. and we met Whaea Kerry and Whaea Kristina there. 

Whaea Kerry sed we cod tutu wis efrey sic my frafit thig wos vr Glasses and it wos so col  it fat so reyo it wos betr sen a crom doc it wos a masen.

(Whaea Kerry said we could tutu with anything. My favourite thing was the VR glasses and it was so cool. It felt so real. It was better then a chrome book. It was amazing.)

My Speech - Fizzy Drinks Should Be Banned

What was your overall feeling about your speech experience? 

it was hard but I did it.

Fizzy drink is bad for you it is not heathy it is full of sugar and it wont keep you fit. Fizzy drink should be banned!

Sugar is bad for your teeth. It makes your teeth rotten and fall out. Some kids even have their teeth pulled out because they are rotten. They have metal things over their teeth too. It’s not cool to have pirate teeth.

Diabetes is a bad disease that lots of New Zealanders have because they eat and drink things that have too much sugar like fizzy. People won’t get diabetes if there were no fizzy drinks.   

  

Fizzy comes in plastic bottles and people throw plastic out the window. It kills animals and they can get caught in it. It makes the animals sick when they think it is food. You should throw plastic in the recycling bin. If there was no fizzy there would be no plastic. It will help nature and all the animals.

That’s why I think fizzy should be banned!

We went to Lake Ngatu  and we pot trees in the grand and we planting trees with people and we planted 360 planted and I picked up 7 things the biggest things.

Place Value Addition Strategy

WALT use solve addition equations using a place value strategy and place value blocks.

At the beginning we used pv blocks.

The pv blocks helped us with the strategy.

we put the tens together then we put the ones tog ther

Then we didnx need the pv blocks.

Covid 19 Level 2 Writing

 Back In lockdown in level2 and we are not allowed to play rugby. We have to stay 2m away from people you have to cough In your elbow.

Dragons! Dragons! Dragons

WALT sound out unfamiliar words using our sound knowledge. 

What did you learn while you were reading?

At the beginning the dragons were lonely. They didn.t have friends.the people thought they were too big and too scary. they went to the skate park. the dragons flew down to the skate park. the people jumped off Dragons Dragons Dragons they ran for ter life and scremd Dragon Dragon Dragon. They were being nice and they made friends and lived happily every after.
